A perfect opportunity for history buffs. Myakka has five small historic palm log cabins built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the late 1930s. These unique structures, set in a beautiful oak and palm hammock, help give visitors a chance to step back into Florida's past. You are a important part of preserving these cabins by cleaning and keeping them well maintained and offering the experience to stay in them to the public.
